IMSaferFree and IMSaferPlus make their debut

In July of 2006, I was part of the team that founded IMSafer and we began our mission to help protect children when they go online. It’s been over two years, one acquisition, and so many amazing stories about how IMSafer helped parents from our customers since we started and today marks a new chapter for IMSafer. We’re now part of the Crisp Thinking family and as a group we are laser focused on making the Internet a safe place for kids to enjoy.

For the past two years we were successful in keeping IMSafer a free service for our customers and we will contine to offer a free service; IMSaferFree. IMSaferFree will still allow parents to still keep an eye on their children’s online activities, profiles and relationships, while still keeping the trust relationship between parent and child intact. When making the decisions around what features went into IMSaferFree, we focused heavily on ensuring we were providing a truly valuable free service for parents. IMSaferFree is available today.

In addition, we’re launching IMSafer™ Plus which will provide even more features that parents have asked us for, like Social Network scanning and profile checking – all at a very reasonable subscription.

As you have come to expect from Crisp®, we will also be rolling in many new features to IMSafer™ Plus over the coming months, so the value of the service will continue to grow. IMSafer™ Plus is a great way to provide safety for your family, and peace of mind for you – all for the equivalent price of one newspaper a month!

This is an exciting time here at Crisp and we’re looking forward to helping each and everyone one of our customers. The challenges facing parents of kids who use the Internet continue to evolve and so will the IMSaferFree and IMSaferPlus services.
